Shared Education with Carbury NS
Fourth class had a wonderful day with our friends in Carbury NS on Thursday 26th of February.
We worked together to build a range of projects using LEGO Spike. Each person in a team was assigned a role as engineer, selector or builder. We had to use our problem solving and collaboration skills to complete the projects.
For our second activity, we were very lucky to have a session with Archaeologist Dr James Bonsall. Dr James told us how he uses Magnetometry to investigate historical remains in Sligo. We completed a fun grid activity as a whole group and identified different features in aerial photographs.
We also had great fun playing on their yard. We played football, table tennis and skipping.
We look forward to their return visit to Réalt na Mara in a few weeks time!
