Our girls’ team did themselves, their families and the entire school community proud today as they competed in the Cumann na mBunscol Final in Markievicz Park against a very strong Enniscrone NS team.
Although the result did not go our way, the girls gave absolutely everything from the first whistle to the last. They showed great determination, resilience, teamwork and spirit throughout the game and never stopped battling until the very end.
A huge thank you also to all of our supporters who turned out in such great numbers and created a wonderful sea of yellow and black on the sideline, and to our parent volunteers for their help on and off the pitch.
A special thank you to Ms. O’Connor and Ms. Gray for all the time, effort and dedication they gave to the team over the past few months.
While today’s result may not have been the one we hoped for, there is still so much to celebrate.
