Easter Catch Up! 🐣

21st Apr 2026

As we return back to school from the Easter holidays, let’s take a look back at some of our lovely memories from March and April!

The children in 5th and 6th class performed so well in the first rounds of the FAI 5 aside tournament held at McSharry Park. They all put their best efforts into the matches and showed great sportsmanship throughout!

The children loved dressing up for World Book Day, lots of creativity showcased and lots of interesting characters chosen! We were also so lucky to have a visit from Sligo Library who informed us of some nice upcoming events they will hosting in the coming months. The librarians also did a lovely read aloud of an abridged version of “Iron Man” by Ted Hughes for the senior classes.

The children also loved dressing up for Lá Glas as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge. The boys and girls from 4th to 6th class performed “Trasna na dTonnta” at their Friday assembly. Comhghairdeas libh!

Crazy Hair Day was another great day for the children, take a look at the very creative and unique hairstyles showcased by the children!

GAA with Daniel on Fridays has been a great success as we move towards the Cumann na Bunscol competition next week! Lots of great GAA drills and skills development on display, enjoyed by all! Well done to all involved!
